Kate accepts briefs in all areas of law but has specialist expertise and experience in public and administrative law.
Prior to coming to the Bar Kate was a solicitor at Legal Aid NSW in the government law practice group. In that capacity Kate appeared as a solicitor advocate in the AAT and was lead instructing solicitor in contested matters before the Federal Court of Australia and High Court of Australia.
In addition to her practical experience, Kate holds a BA and LLB (Hons I) from the University of Sydney, where she also lectured in administrative law, as well as an LLM from Harvard Law School (Frank Knox Memorial Scholarship recipient).
