Ryan specialises in commercial, corporate, and insolvency law, but accepts briefs to advise and appear in disputes of all kinds.
Since coming to the Bar, Ryan has been briefed principally as junior counsel in equity, commercial and corporations disputes in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Western Australia. He is regularly briefed to appear unled at interlocutory hearings, as well as in proceedings in the District and Local Courts of New South Wales.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Ryan was a solicitor at Allens in the Dispute and Investigations Department, and the Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Black of the Supreme Court of NSW.
